The Trossachs (often referred to as 'The Highlands in Minature') is less than an hour from Glasgow and the outskirts of Edinburgh, making it perfect for both day and short visits.

Now forming a major part of Scotland's first National Park including Argyll and Loch Lomond, the area has a plan of sustainable development to ensure the balance between providing visitor enjoyment and the enviroment.

The main towns and villages in the Trossachs consist of Aberfoyle as the Gateway Village and Callander as the main town. However the new National Park boundary now brings places such as Balloch, Loch Lomond, Lochearnhead and many other lovely villages into the Trossachs area.
Whatever the reasons for visiting The Trossachs, all will leave in awe of the magnificent surroundings and beautiful landscapes.
