Set against the backdrop of the wonderful scenery of highland Perthshire the Kings House has recently been taken over by the owners of the world renowned Monachyle Mhor Hotel. Completely different in character to the original hotel they have put a lot of effort and money into creating Mhor84 which will provide the same quality as Monachyle Mhor and their other eateries in Callander such as Mhor Fish and Mhor Bread. If you are looking for the Kingshouse on the A84 then you will be in for a pleasant surprise. Welcome to MHOR 84 MOTEL where the Lewis family are in cahoots with Mhairi of Deli Zique and Cafe Zique from the west end of Glasgow. Lisa has also relocated her much loved MHOR tea room here.

Located on The Rob Roy Way and Sustrans cycle route 7 we welcome both 2 legged, four legged and 2 wheeled guests! For very muddy arrivals we have a washdown facility and can safely store our residents bikes indoors.

Muddy Boots, Mucky Paws & dirty wheels are very welcome: Mhor84 is perfectly located for those who love exploring Scotland on foot or by bike. We have 7 individually designed ensuite bedrooms, 2 of which are dog friendly. We Welcome Dogs and have set aside to 2 bedrooms that are specific dog friendly. So if you want to bring your four legged ‘Best Friend’ then please let us know when booking your stay with us.

Set amongst gorgeous scenery you will discover old settlements (full of history), meandering burns, tumbling waterfalls, beautiful trees and vast green hills. You can’t but fail to feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled hill air and enjoying the crystal clear lochs and lochans which are perfect for skinny dipping. “No light pollution here”:Our blanket wrapped starry, starry skies make this a perfect location for ‘Star Gazing’.

Mhor84 is surrounded by an abundance of wild life, wild flowers, fish in the burns and you may also spot some wild red deer and the elusive Scottish red squirrel.

Romantically remote but easily reached: Whilst we are located in Highland Perthshire we are only 1 hour from Glasgow Edinburgh and Perth. Just 10 minutes from Killin and 30 minutes from Glencoe makes us a great base for Munro baggers. Nearby Munros include include Stobinian, Ben More, Ben Lawes, Ben Vorlich, Ben Chabhair and Ben Challum.
