Poppies Hotel in Callander is owned and run by John & Susan who have spent years building a reputation for great Scottish hospitality, high standards of cuisine and great value. Every part of Poppies is well loved and has been maintained and renovated to an extremely high standard.

Contemporary Comfort with a Traditional Ambience: Expect, and enjoy a fresh, cosy and comfortable bedroom. Poppies has 9 individually styled ensuite bedrooms. All have the modern comforts you should expect whilst still retaining their character and individual ‘personalities’. Some have warm soothing baths and all have showers, refreshments, lovely toiletries, fluffy towels and personal heating.

Poppies Restaurant and its Whisky Bar will exceed all your expectations! Poppies has a well earned reputation for great food and fine dining without the snobbery and excessive prices! If you like quality wine and sampling a genuine Scottish Whisky then your only problem will be which one of 120 whiskies to choose. Open for lunch and dinner they also have a great value Dinner, B&B package. Poppies is also a must visit for those who enjoy a quality Murder Mystery Event.

Muddy Boots and Mucky Paws are welcome: Poppies Hotel is perfectly located for those who love exploring Scotland on foot or by bike. Located on The Rob Roy Way and Sustrans cycle route 7 we welcome both 2 legged and four legged guests. All we ask is that you use our wash down and drying facilities and remove your muddy boots before going up to your bedroom. We welcome dogs but we need to know in advance that you are bringing your best friend.

A great venue for lovers of live music: Poppies is one of the main venues of the annual Callander Jazz Festival, they also have other live events from time to time. If you are looking for a unique venue for a special event such as a Wedding, Family Reunion or business meeting Poppies is also available for exclusive hire.
