Part of the Stonegate family of Scottish Inns and Bar means you are always guaranteed of a warm welcome by well trained staff, a perfectly poured pint of real ale and delicious meals to tantalise your taste buds.

If you are a returning guest you will still recognise the original 1895 building, but will truly appreciate the modern additions. The Glass verandahs now allow you to have the feeling of ‘sitting outside’to enjoy the views whatever the weather. For sunnydays there are still the benches and umbrellas to chill out under and watch the boats sail out to Loch Lomond.

Inside the bar and restaurant has the feel of a contemporary upmarket and bijou location without the price tag that often goes with these places. Family friendly, The Tullie Inn prides itself on providing a friendly service, quality food and reasonable prices.

Muddy Boots and tired cyclists are very welcome: The Tullie Inn is perfectly located for those who love exploring Scotland on foot or by bike. Located at the head of Loch Lomond we are beside the railway station. If you are a guest in one our 14 ensuite bedrooms we are happy to safely store your bike inside for you in our cellars.

If you are touring the area why not visit our sister pub in Arrochar. The Village Inn, Arrochar is less than half an hour away and offers stunning views over Loch Long.

I was attending a wedding on Loch Lomond-side and chose to stay the following night at the Tullie. I have been to it’s restaurant in the past and had wanted to stay in the “Inn” for sometime. Situated adjacent to Balloch Station the location couldn’t be bettered.I was staying on a bed and breakfast basis but stayed on in Balloch and had lunch there as well.

There was a very warm welcome on arrival and check in was quick and helpful. The whole place has been Refurbished to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The room appears to have been a room in the original building but again it was spacious or a B&B with a good size en suite bath/shower and toilet. TV had freeview and allowed catching up with current affairs. Breakfast was served in the glass veranda which was reserved or guests and whilst the weather was poor it was easy to imagine how glorious it would be on a nice day. The breakfast was classic Scottish and of good quality. Lunch was pulled pork with potato skins, delicious. If staying in Balloch a good choice.
