The Black Bull Hub & Pub is situated in the lovely conservation village of Gartmore and is located amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. The Black Bull has a well used local bar & delightful restaurant. The Hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard and is open daily for lunches and evening meals. We have double, twin and family rooms available and we are open all year round. We are in a perfect location for cyclist and walkers and lovers of the great Scottish outdoors.

An original and traditional Coaching Inn The Black Bull Hotel dates back to the 17th Century and is located in the heart of Gartmore Village next to the Village Hall.

Gartmore is a quiet picturesque village on the edge of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and is just 2 miles from Aberfoyle. It has little through traffic so you are assured a good nights sleep on a comfortable bed. We have 2 double rooms each with their own adjoining en-suite bathroom and a family room with a double bed and 2 bunk beds and an exclusive bathroom adjacent to the room.

All of the Black Bulls bedrooms are finished to a high standard and enjoy great views to the surrounding countryside and the Village. As well as bed and breakfast accommodation we can also offer a Dinner,B&B package.

Well known locally for the consistently good standard and great value food Liz and Andy also operate Liz MacGregors Coffee Shop in the nearby village of Aberfoyle which is available for meals and coffee through the day.

The Black Bull also has a large function suite which is suitable for Weddings, Ceilidhs, and family gatherings. We are an ideal Wedding Venue and can cater for small bespoke intimate Weddings up to 100 guests.

Should you need more accommodation for a special event such as a Wedding we also operate the Craigmore Bed and Breakfast in the nearby village of Aberfoyle. If needed we can also arrange transport for you between Gartmore and Aberfoyle for you and your guests.

If you are staying somewhere locally such a campsite or bed and breakfast then we can arrange a shuttle bus to pick you up and take you back after your meal. Just give us a ring to arrange a pickup. We look forward to welcoming to The Black Bull for a drink, dinner or a short break.
