Gavinburn Cottages are five lovely self-catering cottages located only 6 miles from Loch Lomond and 8 miles from Glasgow, set high in the Kilpatrick Hills. Each cottage has stunning views over Glasgow, The River Clyde and the surrounding countryside. You have access to countless walking trails on your doorstep to explore by foot or by bike and spot our local wildlife.

One of the original farmhouses it has been renovated to an extremely high 4 star standard and is home to three cottages, The Auchentoshan (3 Bedrooms), The Glengoyne (2 Bedrooms) and The Glenmorangie (1 Bedroom). All these cottages have fully equipped kitchens, relaxing lounge and dining areas, super-king beds, log burning stoves, wifi and smart TVs.

Across the car park area you will find the “new” Glenlivet and Macallan cottages. These are identical and adjoining cottages with each having Stunning ‘Cathedral’ style ceilings and 2 bedrooms. This makes them ideal for larger groups or families as you can book both cottages together, giving you 4 bedrooms (sleeping up to 8 persons) and enough room to socialise/dine in one cottage. All rooms are on ground level with stunning views from every window. Both Cottages have large modern open plan living, dining and kitchen areas and French doors which open out onto a sun terrace with views. The kitchens are fully equipped, we have super-king beds and we supply luxury linen and towels. Each of these two cottages also has wifi, a smart TV and a living flame stove.

This unique (but easily accessed) location allows Guests to enjoy year round panoramic views. It’s peaceful hillside location is perfect for families and groups of friends looking to get away for a short break or holiday. Each cottage benefits from a sun terrace with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. High Gavinburn is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or for those who just enjoy chilling out and enjoying wonderful views. We have excellent rail and road links to explore Scotland and Kilpatrick train station is located at the bottom of the hill road (1.5km).

Quality throughout, only the best luxury bed linen is used including the finest cotton sheets and soft fluffy towels, you can also choose if you want your beds as twins or super king doubles.

All inclusive fees; including gas, electricity, logs and you have access to full laundry facilities at the onsite utility rooms and ample, free parking.

Muddy Boots, Wheels & Mucky paws welcome. Don’t worry about leaving your loved ones behind as we welcome dogs and their owners (but with a few common sense requests) e.g. they (the dogs) are not left alone in the house unsupervised, they use their own baskets to relax in and that if you do return with muddy paws & boots you clean them off outside. If you do plan to bring your pet please notify this advance of your stay. 1 dog per property. We also have secure bike storage and wash facilities.
