Imagine flying through the trees for over 400m watching the trees zipping past below you. Finally you fly over a beautiful waterfall and safely land. Your Go Ape Tree Top Adventure has began and before you is an obstacle course of 30 tree top challenges.

Safety First:

But before you are allowed on the 1st zip line every Go Ape Adventurer is personally trained by a member of staff who looks after you for the duration of your time on site. Only when they and you are happy to proceed are you allowed to take part in your Go Ape adventure.

Aberfoyle Go Ape

is one of Go Ape’s most popular courses, not only does it have some of the UK’s 2 longest zip wires, but you will be tackling 30 crossings, Tarzan swings, Japanese Bridges, Button Crossings, Tight Ropes, Tunnels, Balance Beams, Spider Webs, Zig Zag Crossings, Tibetan and Chantemell Bridges, Log swings, Goat crossings, Railway tracks, the Bosun Chair and all this happens in the canopy of The Loch Achray Forest!

Zipping back to reality:

Finally you return back via the another long zip wire. For less adventurous family & friends who don’t do Go Ape they can walk via the waterfall trail to watch you ‘Going Ape’ in the forest canopy.

March to October, weekdays from 9.30am till 3 hours before darkness.
Weekends from 8.30am.
November weekends only. Closed December to February.
