Kip in the Kirk was recently converted and fully modernised from the Old Church Hall. Located in the centre of Drymen along the Stirling Road, it’s just a minute’s walk from the village green and plenty of places to eat and drink. On a Thursday night in July or August you can hear a local pipe band play, and Sunday nights may even find you at a ceilidh – this is Scotland, after all.

Kip in the Kirk has an en suite family room (which can be used as a double, twin or family room), and a double room with private facilities. We’re delighted to welcome guests with home made afternoon tea, and a delicious freshly prepared continental breakfast will set you up for the day – including our next door neighbour’s famous homemade marmalade!

Our accommodation is suited to all kinds of guests, including backpackers, climbers, cyclists, hostelers, families, and groups. With a choice of superior bunk room style beds and family/double rooms, you really couldn’t hope for a better night’s kip. Verily a unique stay in a unique building.

Amongst many other activities, Drymen is ideal as an overnight stop for hikers on the West Highland Way, and is the western end of the Rob Roy Way.

For families, or groups of friends travelling together, our bunk room is ideal and accommodates up to eight people. You will arrive and depart in total awe.
