Welcome to the Hayloft. It is comfortable and well equipped. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room & 2 double bedrooms (one with an extra length bed). It has double french doors that open to an established & secluded garden & ancient woodland from the lounge. Here guests have spotted red squirrels, pine martin & deer and a wide variety of birds incl. woodpeckers, jays & overhead buzzards & peregrines. An ideal location for nature lovers, walkers & cyclists.

The Hayloft is an imaginative conversion of a Victorian hay loft. Their guests keep coming back and recommending their 3/4 star standards of hospitality & great value. Well loved and maintained, here are a few of their recommendations of things to do & places to visit:

We have been walking Loch Ard and Loch Katrine, which was easy walking with fantastic views’,’Plenty to do – cycling, walking, eating! Climbing Ben A’an was spectacular but hard going carrying a 7 month old baby!, ‘Boat trip on Loch Katrine is a must!

The drive to Loch Katrine and over the top to Calendar has breathtaking scenery also the walk through Loch Ard to Kinlochard. Managed to get 2 rounds of Golf in Aberfoyle and Callendar.

The children enjoyed boating on Loch Lomond and Go Ape in the local forest in Aberfoyle, ‘Horse riding at Castle Rednock was excellent, all off road. So many walks on the doorstep, Climbed Ben Lomond – a great walk although it took us 2 and a half hours

Lots of good places to eat ‘The Wee Blether’, ‘The Lade, The Pier at Loch Katrine, Black Bull at Gartmore, the Byre Inn’ at Brig O Turk, and the Lake of Menteith hotel and restaurant overlooking the water

A great visit to Edinburgh and the Real Mary King Close, A trip to Glen Coe was a great day out, ‘Stirling Castle was amazing’

The Hayloft comfortably sleeps 4 persons in 2 bedrooms. Fully equipped with all you can need it has a comfortable open plan kitchen, lounge, diner and an outside dining area.
