Located at the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’ in an area of outstanding beauty, Balquhidder Braes is just 1 mile north of Strathyre and 1 mile south of Loch Earn in the heart of Rob Roy country. We are surrounded by the ‘5 Lochs’ areas of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and have many species of flora and fauna on and around our site including red squirrels, deer, otters, osprey and wild orchids. If you LOVE Scottish Scenery and Wildlife then you should come and stay at Balqhidder Braes.

Warm and Cosy our 2 Superior Log Cabins come with Double Glazing, Central Heating and have a Cosy open plan living area with a modern feel. They have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable short break with an extra level of comfort and everything you could require for a short break..

Superior Log Cabin 1 sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and has its own Hot Tub! The High Spec Hot Tub has high powered hydro-massage jets, guaranteed to take away those aches and strains, leaving you fully relaxed to enjoy the spectacular views from its elevated position.

Superior Log Cabin 2 is ALL about the views! Situated further up the hill than the standard log cabins this 6 bed Cabin benefits great views over the Balquhidder glens. The large open plan living area has a wall mounted flat screen and electric flame effect fire and the well equipped Kitchen/diner has everything you require for your break away including large fridge freezers for all your supplies. It has a Master ensuite bedroom, plus 2 spacious twin rooms and a separate bathroom.

Perthshire spring water on tap at no extra cost! Balquhidder Brae’s water supply is a private supply from a spring in the adjacent forest which is then stored in our own reservoir before passing through our on site filtration and uv sanitation unit. The water is tested annually and results are displayed in public areas on the park.

Balquhidder Braes also has a selection of ‘Standard’and ‘Deluxe’ Log Cabins, some of which also have their own Hot Tubs and Real Fires.
